The Minister of Small Businesses, Cooperatives and Marketing Honorable Chalane Phori, says Lesotho must resolve the laws that govern businesses in the country, to encourage Basotho to buy and sell Basotho products to improve the country’s economy.

Honorable Phori said this in Maseru yesterday, where the Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation(BEDCO), was launching the economic diversification support project.

He said they are planning to formulate new laws, so that while small entrepreneurs are being trained to improve their businesses, then laws which govern businesses are also being amended.

He appreciated the African Development Bank for working together with BEDCO to improve Basotho businesses, and called on Basotho to consider business related issues, to improve the country’s economy
