As the Lesotho Women’s Super League (WSL) kicks off over the weekend,Berea Ladies F.C says they are looking to destroy and break the record of LDF Ladies when they clash on Sunday at Morija.

Berea Ladies President Mr. Lekhooa Thabaneng reaffirmed their readiness for the match during an interview with LENA on Tuesday.

Mr. Thabaneng said their aim is to claim just 1-0 to LDF Ladies and walk away with three points in order to improve their WSL status.  He said as Berea Ladies their preparedness for the match were boosted by a long weeklong break resulting from the Hollywood Bets Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) Women Championship games where they did have a representation of only three

players in Mehalitoe. Berea Ladies stressed that their weekend opponent constituted about 60 percent of the Mehalalitoe squad and possibly they are likely to be going through fatigue and that gives them an opportunity to claim a win.

Mr. Thabaneng said for quite a long time, LDF Ladies have been dominating the WSL, however he said with the kind of players they have registered this season; they are more than prepared to oppose a challenge against them. Meanwhile, Berea Ladies F.C lost its opening game against Bokamoso Ladies by 2-1 and as a result it is currently holding position seven of WSL, while LDF Ladies which is already leading the league dismantled Thaba-Tseka Ladies in its opening match by 15-0.
