The general secretary of Bible Society Mr.Inahaneng Basotho Tsekana says the venture pioneered by the society to encourage Basotho to read the Bible, is progessing well with the nation participating as church leaders and congregations, families and individuals

He says the soon to be published handwritten Sesotho Bible will remain a legacy for the successive generations, highlighting that the sole objective of the initiative, is to instill a love for the Word of GOD into the nation

He furthermore mentioned that king Letsie the third is keen to see the publishing of this version whose writing , he contributed to, with  the first verse and chapter of Exodus as his choice, following his father king Moshoeshoe the second’s  first verse and chapter of Genesis
