Harvest FM Managing Director Mrs ‘Malichaba Lekhoaba celebrated her birthday with shepherds of different villages around Sefikeng in Berea yesterday, where shepherds were awarded gifts which include gumboots, bathing soap and food.

When giving reasons why she celebrates her birthday with vulnerable people every year, Mrs Lekhoaba explained that giving is her gift from God.

She further said there are many people who have a lot of money in the world, but they do not remember the vulnerable and needy people when they celebrate.

It is at the same occasion where the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Honorable Machesetsa Mofomobe, pointed out that Mrs Lekhoaba celebrates her birthday every year, with different vulnerable groups of people regardless of which government is in power, and said this shows that Mrs Lekhoaba’s celebrations do not have political influence.

He also reminded Basotho that Harvest FM gave a helping hand in saving his life, when he was attacked by the previous government by giving him a platform to announce on air, what he believed was an attempted murder against him.
