Maseru ___While some gather in churches and chapels to celebrate Christmas day, life is normal for street vendors within the Maseru CBD.

Speaking in an interview with LENA, Mr. Taelo Ts’onts’o said that this has been a very rough year for him in terms of his finances so with the Christmas day gathering a few opportunities, he saw it fit to continue with his normal working day.
Mr. Ts'onts'o stated that though business might not be as good but the little that he will collect will make a great impact in his life.

He however urged Basotho to celebrate the holidays with utmost caution and responsibility as there is a lot that awaits in 2025.

Meanwhile, a taxi driver, Mr. Thabang Maile said that he has only working in the morning hours as he was conveying people whom some are going to work.
He mentioned that he is a Christian who observed the Christmas day so he will not be working long as he will be going to church.

Within the Maseru town also, the Agency has also observed that some retail stores were operating with the management stating that they will be operating on the basis of stand-by employees.
