29 December 2016 | 10:40
This week is likely to be dominated by mainly partly cloudy to cloudy and hot to very hot conditions.

This was revealed by Mr. Charles Ts’eole of Lesotho Meteorological Services who added that there are chances of isolated thundershowers almost every day with chances of significant rain likely on Monday and Friday.

He said the temperatures are expected to be warm to hot becoming very hot at times, saying in some places wind is expected to be moderate becoming occasionally strong, and maximum temperatures are expected to range between 25°C and 33°C while minimum temperatures are expected to range between 14°C and 19°C in the lowlands.

Mr. Ts’eole indicated that for the highlands, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 20°C and 27°C and minimum temperatures to range between 08°C and 14°C.

He noted that from December, 2016 to February, 2017, average to below average rainfall is anticipated, coupled with average to above average temperature.
