Over one hundred Lesotho Defence Force(LDF) senior officers were awarded certificates in Maseru yesterday, after completing a five weeks LDF civil military relations seminar.

At the event the LDF Deputy Commander Major General Matela Matobakele, said LDF aims to ensure adequate military and academic skills to its personnel, so that they execute a wide range of military tasks.

He encouraged the officers to go and impart the knowledge they acquired at the seminar, to their subordinates in their respective units.

He said while other military issues are classified and need to be treated as such, an exception should be made to the sharing of the skills they acquired at the seminar.

He told the participants of the seminar that it is important, to have good relations with the army and the nation at large.
