NedBank Lesotho launched a new money application that will help customers make payments by transferring money from their bank accounts.

Speaking in Maseru yesterday, NedBank Marketing Specialist Mr Monaheng Ranku said the purpose of the application is to bring self services to the public, and allow people to do anything they want in their bank accounts.

He said in recent times people go around with their cell phones, and they found it necessary to bring banking services in cell phones.

He also said customers can download the application from App Stores in their cell phones, and that it will help them checkup the balances in their bank accounts.

Ranku further explained that the application has a cut functionality that will help customers to permanently or temporarily block their bank accounts if they lost or misplaced their credit cards, rather than having to call the bank for assistance in times of emergency.
