The Participatory Initiative for Social Accountability(PISA) and other stakeholders, concerned with issues affecting children in Lesotho, will hold a one day dialogue forum in Mafeteng on Friday this week, on issues relating to child marriage.

PISA coordinator Mr Nakant’si Moshoeshoe, said different government ministries, non-government organizations and the public will be present during the forum.

He said the forum is intended to encourage children not to be married at young age, and advice them to attend schools.

He pointed out that those who will be participating in the forum, will discuss all issues relating to child marriage, and different methods of stopping it for future generations.

Mr Moshoeshoe said they invited one young girl, who got married at a young age to tell her story, and motivate her peers to refrain from this kind of marriage.
