Three girls between the ages of fifteen and seventeen are facing murder trial of an eighty years old woman from TJ in Qacha’s Nek.

The Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Spokesperson Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said on the 20th April 2019 at around 12 noon, the three girls assaulted the old woman accusing her of defecating in the house of another old lady, who is a relative of one of the girls.

Mopeli further explained that after the incident the assaulted woman crouched to her home and lied on her bed, where she was found dead the following day.

The suspects were arrested and later released as they are underage.
