The ministry of Development  planning in collaboration with UNFPA   celebrated World Population day in mokhotlong District.  

In this celebration. the minister of Development planning  Honorable Tlohelang Aumane  said Lesotho is facing the number of challenges like starvation , poverty and HIV/AIDS ,saying its  through ensuring availability  of contraceptives ,and improving woman lives  and families  can  overcome  such challenges

Aumane said such issues are significant as to accomplish sustainable development goals of 2030 , saying the provision of Family planning services is the basic right promoting equality , improvement of women’s lives , and poverty reduction.
