A MEMBER OF LESOTHO POLICE FINDS A HUMAN SKULL IN A PILE OF SAND.
A member of Lesotho police finds a human skull in a pile of sand.

A thirty-two years old Chinese man residing at Ha-Hoohlo in Maseru, who is also the owner of Shake Universal Internationa Supermarket, appeared before the Maseru Magistrate Court on the 18th October 2018, for allegedly selling rotten food.

He was given a bail of M500 which he paid, and he will appear in court again on the 18th November 2018.

The Lesotho Mounted Police Service Spokesperson Supretendent Mpiti Mopeli, said the police found a bulk of rotten meat in the residential house and warehouse of that man, and the plan was that the meat was to be washed, packaged and be sold to members of the public.

Supretendent Mopeli said after the police received a report, a team of investigators was formed to investigate this matter until the man was arrested and the bulk of rotten meat was also found.

He further indicated that the police also found that the man has a sealing machine, which he uses to seal plastic bags of braai packs, in such a way that people cannot be aware that they were once opened.

On the other hand Supretendent Mopeli said on the  18th October 2018, a twenty-five years old man who is a members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service(LMPS), who is residing in Lithabaneng Maseru found a skull of a humanbeing in a pile of sand, which he bought in Lithabaneng to build a house.

He said the man reported this to the police and investigations were launched, while the skull is kept in a safe place.
