Two men appeared before the Maseru Magistrate Court on the 31 October,accused of fraud  they committed on Metropolitan Lesotho Insurance Company stealing six hundred and sixty six thousand maloti.

The accused reported to be the employers of metropolitan Lesotho are a 31 year old Bafo Topisi who resides in Levi`s Nek and a 33 year old Motloang Mosothoane of Sebothoane Leribe.

The report indicates that between 2016 and 2017 by the time metropolitan Lesotho`s clients were using online services to register and pay their premiums, this men decided to go behind the company and register other clients and accepted the money from metropolitan using their CLIENTS  identities.

The report also indicates that that the accused hid the money in the personal bank of a south African Citizen.

Howe ever they were given a bail of 2000 maluti each person which they were able to provide,

The case has been postponed to the 12 November 2018 while the company has suspended them effective immediately until the matter has been resolved
