The first lady of Lesotho Mrs Maesiya Thabane says her office alone  is not oblidged to help the needy and vulnerable people, but it is everybody`s  responsibility  to help with love and live peacefully with the needy in their communities.

This she said yesterday where her office donated a gift of a bed and a sewing machine and food parcels to Mrs Mpho Lefoka of Tshenola who is diagonised with HIV/AIDS.

Mrs Thabane also said what she liked about Mrs Lefoka is that she asked for a sewing machine as she has always been sewing even before she got diagonised with HIV.

However Mrs Lefoka survives with help from the ministry of social Development  that takes three months before she can get it.

When receiving the goods Mrs Lefoka expressed her gratitude to the office of the first lady saying she is going to continue with her work of sewing, where she indicated that it is going to help her and her son who dropped out of school because of her mothers illness.

This ceremony took place at the premises of the office of the firstlady in Maseru Yesterday.
