The United Nations (UN) Coordinator to Lesotho Mr Salvatore Nenzimar, launched the Free to Shine HIV/AIDS campaign in Maseru yesterday.

At the event Mr Nenzimar said Lesotho is working tirelessly to ensure that by 2020, it will be a country which has long-term strategies that will combat HIV/AIDS.

He said the campaign will help teach parents and children about good health practices, and with quality health services.

He also pointed out that it is important that pregnant women are taught about HIV/AIDS.

At the same event Minister of Health Honorable Nkaku Kabi, said the Free to Shine campaign is important, and that his ministry has already set out plans that will help it to succeed.
