The ministry of health in collaboration with its partners in health, hosted an annual soul searching ceremony in Maseru that commenced on Wednesday and ended yesterday.

At the official closing of this Ceremony The minister of Health Honorable Nkaku Kabi articulated that among the many important factors that relate to health matters, what he is aware of, is that there are a whole lot of people in the mountains who need Anti-Retro-viral Drugs.

He said he believes that the ceremony has catered for the challenges that are faced by people with HIV/AIDS,especially those living at remote areas in order for them to easily get medication,as it is the first step to a safer and longer life.

Honorable Kabi indicated that HIV/AIDS was a huge problem back in the days as it`s costs were very high and the government was not helping at all, like it is right now, therefore many people lost their beloved ones.

He further said lately the ministry and its partners in health are keen to help, how ever, what is needed is that people should be able to receive proper medication easily.

Honorable Kabi said they used to hold ceremonies of the same manner in the past years where it came to their attention that the spread of HIV/AIDS has declined
