1. Armed men rob PEP Store more than M9 000.

Senior Inspector Rantoane Motsoetla of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS), says three men armed with guns and knives invaded PEP Store at LNDC building in Maseru last Sunday, and robbed them an amount of about M9 000.

Speaking in Maseru yesterday, Motsoetla explained that the men instructed a security guard to close the door, forced the store manager to open a till machine, pointing him with guns and knives and they took the money.

He said after that the men ran away with a Honda Fit of the plate number RB692, heading to the direction of Mokorotlong, and the store manager then notified the police about the incidence.

In his statement Senior Inspector Motsoetla said the police followed the men who turned to the direction of the National Security Services (NSS) offices, where their Honda Fit ran out of the fuel and they got out and ran away with their feet.

He stated that one of the men the twenty-two years old Rasemane Rasemane of Motimpo was arrested, and he will appear in court on the 4th February 2019 while the police is searching for the other two men.
