A 29 years old man Motlalepula Setlaba who is a member of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF), was given a M1 000 bail by the Maseru Magistrate Court for his murder case.

The court found that Setlaba shot and killed Tau Khauoe at T’senola in Maseru on the 13th October 2018.

He was given a bail on conditions that he does not interfere with state witnesses and the police investigations, and that he reports himself to the magistrate court every month until the end of his trial.

Setlaba was also ordered to appear before the court again on the 11th February 2019, as the investigations in his trial are still in progress, and the tests on the gun he killed Khauoe with are being carried out.
