MINISTRY OF EDUCATION RECEIVES BOOKS AND LEARNING MATERIALS FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
Ministry of Education receives books and learning materials for secondary schools.

The Minister of Education and Training Honorable Ntoi Rapapa has received books and other learning materials for Grade 8 students at Schools Supply Unit in Khubetsoana on Wednesday the 6th March 2019.

At the event, Honorable Rapapa explained that the books and other learning materials will be available in schools throughout the country within two weeks.

He said the books are for the subjects that include science, arts and entrepreneurship and they will be sent to schools starting from today.

In his remarks he indicated that in the 2019/2020 financial year budget, Ministry of Education and Training is made a priority, and they will manage to resolve many teachers’ grievances.

He also expressed that the Government of Lesotho is continuing to resolve teachers’ grievances, which include the issue of the unavailability of learning materials in schools.

The managing director of the Schools Supply Unit Mrs Cecilia Mahao, said they have received 26 000 books which will be sent to all the secondary schools in the country.
