LESOTHO FARMERS SUFFER A SHORTAGE OF MARKET.
Lesotho farmers suffer a shortage of market.
13 March 2019 | 19:39

A farmer Mr Liphoto Tawana says even though farmers produce much, there is no enough market for them to sell their products and that some international buyers do not buy Lesotho Products that include beans in a satisfying way.

This transpired in a meeting where Minister of Finance Dr Moeketsi Majoro unfolded what was hidden inside this year’s financial estimates in Maseru yesterday.

Dr Majoro pointed out that the market for the production of food in the country will be created and will be under the supervision of the LNDC.

On the other hand Dr Majoro highlighted that he struggled to announce this year’s financial budget, as it has bad news for civil servants and the public at large.

He further said jobs are created by investors, therefore the government needs to add to the already existing number of investors in order to alleviate unemployment rate in Lesotho.
