The AIDS Free Lesotho, Blue Cross, PSI and ECPATH held a three days workshop for young people in Berea, under the Masimong HIV/AIDS Prevention Program Lesotho.

The purpose of the workshop which started on Friday the 15th March and ended on Sunday the 17th March 2019, was to train young people about the self-independence program for children.

At the event the coach of the self-independence program for children from AIDS Free Lesotho Mrs ‘Masehoehla Molapo, said the four organizations decided to work together after realizing that they have one goal.

She also said they decided to work together to avoid visiting schools as different organizations, yet they are going to share the same message to students.

In her statement she further said they currently have trained eleven young people, who are expected to train students about good nutrition, self awareness, children’s rights and their responsibilities, alcohol and drug abuse, HIV/AIDS prevention and other sexually transmitted diseases.
