The Lesotho National Federation of the Disabled people (LNFOD) will lend money to more than twenty people living with disability to start their own businesses, in order to improve their lives.
The coordinator of the plan from LNFOD Mr Rabasotho Moeletsi says people who will be lent the money are among the fifty disabled people, who had previously made requests for the funds.
He said the fifty people are from different local government councils in the districts of Leribe, Maseru, Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek.
He also said LNFOD encouraged disabled people to apply for financial assistance after several business trainings that were held for them.
In his statement Moeletsi said people who will benefit from this development, will be expected to pay within six months and they will be paying half of the benefit.
