The International Labour Organization (ILO) held a four days workshop for judges, prosecutors and other stakeholders in the legal sector in Lesotho in Maseru yesterday.

The purpose of the workshop was to review the international labour regulations, and to discuss how they can be implemented at the national level in Lesotho.

When officially opening the workshop, the acting Chief Justice Judge ‘Maseforo Mahase, said the stakeholders in the legal sector should motivate themselves, and to improve labour laws from the international labour standards so as to advance the justice system.

She said those who will be at the workshop will review the international labour regulations, and to see how they can be used to resolve labour disputes in Lesotho.
