Alliance Insurance employee ‘Makhanya Khauta is facing a charge of fraud, in which she allegedly defrauded Alliance Insurance a M50 000 cheque of names of one person who is not a customer to Alliance Insurance.

The Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Spokesperson Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli, said it was found that the woman forged six compensation claims estimated to around M400 000, which she made in different times starting from February this year.

He said the woman continued to use this strategy to financially rob Alliance Insurance.
