The Reformed Congress of Lesotho (RCL)’s executive committee suspended the RCL leader Mrs Keketso Rant’so as the chairperson of the executive committee, and the leader of the party until February next year, when the elective conference of the party will be held.

In a press conference held in Maseru yesterday, the treasurer of the party Mr Bataung Thulo said the RCL, started having internal fights after the national elections held in 2016.

He said when they realized that they are part of the 4 by 4 government after the elections, they tried to discuss with their leader how they will work together to succeed in the government.

He said the fight resumed at this point where their leader did not want to discuss with them, how they will work together in the government but wanted to make decisions alone.

Thulo said their leader started distancing herself away and stopped attending their meetings since after elections, and she has never chaired any meeting of the party by now.

Furthermore, Mr Thulo indicated that Rant’so fires members of the party when they disagree with her opinions, and she also fires them without consulting the executive committee of the party.
