The Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) announced that the enlistment of its new recruits that had been proposed to be on the 1st September 2019 has been postponed.

The statement states that this apparent delay has been caused by numerous administrative and logistics constraints, that were beyond the control of LDF.

According to the report, most critical resources have been mobilized for the internal preparations; for the Medical and Security Clearances Vetting processes that are to be conducted in all ten administrative districts of the country.

The army reports that the announcement for the eligible applicants will be made in less than fourteen days.
