Two men were arrested by police while one died, during the breaking incident at one store at Maputsoe in the Leribe district on the 29th November 2019.

Reports indicate that on the same day between 3:00 and 4:00pm, three men entered the store and stole four cell phones from employees, M3 000.00, car radios and computers.

The three men ran away but police rushed to the place after being tipped-off about the incidence, and they found the men at Ha-Nyenye where they started shooting them.

The men tried to run away but they were arrested.

One man was found with a 7.65mm illegal gun, owned by one thirty-six year’s old security guard from Molumong in the Mokhotlong district, who lent it to them so that they proceed with their plan.

According to the report, police arrested the security guard on the 1st December 2019, together with another twenty years old man of Ha-Moit’supeli who resides at Ha-Pita in Maseru, who was a driver of a taxi used by these men.
