According to CNN, three middle-aged men and five minors have been ordered to dig graves because they were seen not wearing protective face coverings.
Indonesia has seen a rise in COVID-19 cases in recent weeks, and Cerme's leader has said he hopes the punishment will make people be safer when it comes to the virus.
