Sesiu sa Botha-Bothe Business Development Forum (SSBBBDF) which was launched on Monday aims at growing the economy of the District by bringing together business people in the community. SSBBBDF General Secretary Mr. Tsakatsi Nkhaholise said the forum is a Nonprofit Organisation formed by a group of companies and business people committed to growing the economy of the District and Lesotho at large. He showed that the vision of the forum is to create a business landscape that is conducive for growth,sustainability and economically viable. 

"The forum acts as a voice representing the views and opinions of various business clusters in Botha-Bothe, It brings together business , government and civil society leaders to deliberate on policies or any other issues affecting the business and socio economic status in the district."

We are looking at growing the economy of the district by protecting the minerals that are found in the district. We have more than three mines operating in the district but all have offices in Maseru, we want those mines to come and hire offices here in Botha-Bothe. Minister of Business, Trade and Development, Mokhethi Shelile has on the other hand uploaded the formation of the forum showing that it is going to benefit the district and Lesotho at large. He warned the forum against conflicts and advised them to seek help whenever challenges arise. He also applauded the policies that the forum has in mitigating challenges when they arise.
