The Democratic Congress National Executive Committee has suspended the leader of party Doctor Pakalitha Mosisili. This suspension follows his behavior of not being obedient to the decisions of Executive committee such as not respecting the N.E.C decision of withdrawing DC within coalition government, as well as doing things against democracy in his leadership

Apart from that, Mosisili is reported to have called for urgent rally which is aimed at reprimanding N.E.C without consent of the general secretary of DC, and this practice is against DC constitution

This suspension also follows his failure to appear before National Executive Committee On the 17th November 2016 as well as failing to send a letter to NEC If he could not come to the hearing

From that day Deputy leader of DC Honourable Monyane Moleleki is acting as a leader of Democratic Congress ,and it is expected that he will occupy the office of the leader of DC ,engaging in all duties of the party leader.

However , Moleleki said Mosisili will remain the Prime Minister of Lesotho.
