PETROLEUM FUND SAYS LESOTHO HAS POTENTIAL TO RECYCLE LUBRICATING OIL
Petroleum fund says Lesotho has potential to recycle lubricating oil

The Petroleum Fund has held Stakeholder Forum to unfold the feasibility study conducted by Group II Company, on the recycling of used oil in Lesotho. Speaking on behalf of Petroleum Fund Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Lebohang Makhoali said, the purpose of the feasibility study was for them to come up with a working plan projected to promote economic growth. 

He said the other main objective of the plan to redefine used oil in Lesotho is to create jobs within petroleum sector, and to ensure that that all petroleum products have minimal negative impact on the environment. Dr. Motsotuoa Makoae from Group II stated that the plan has the potential to be a success, but the challenge remains the legislature and the principles that could be used to to strengthen the plan
