30 June 2023 | 13:45

Pastors from various churches have on Wednesday urged those in government not to forget the Covenant of peace, which was made by God and the founder of Basotho Nation King Moshoeshoe I. This transpired in a prayer session held at the District Administrator’s Boardroom by pastors from various churches, and officers from different Ministries in commemoration of the arrival of the Bible in Lesotho.

One Pastor from the Gate of Righteousness Church Pastor Seqhala- Marena Mojaje, highlighted that King Moshoeshoe I bought Lesotho’s peace with about 200 cattle by allowing Missionaries, to bring the Bible in Lesotho in 1833, therefore buying the Kingdom peace. Pastor Mojaje however indicated that it is very unfortunate that there are so many appalling things happening in this country, making them wonder if those in power even know the sacrifices made by the founder of this nation for it to have peace.

In an interview with Harvest fm Newsroom Pastor Lekhotla Rajane from Love House Worship Center indicated, the arrival of Bible in Lesotho is significant in the history of Lesotho Among other things that were prayed for was integrity for those who
are serving the nation, peace and stability, economic growth, Chieftainship the church across the world
