The court of the Magistrate has on Monday ordered that  Police Constable Moletsane, be subpoenaed before the court following the issuance of a medical form which the court believes to be inadmissible.  This follows the case of 74 years old Makalang Johannes Lechesa of Maqhena Ha- Bolokoe, who is charged with assault and attempted murder with intentions of causing grievous bodily harm, Evidence brought before the court highlighted that in May, 07, the accused had been drinking at one place in the village then decided to leave around seven in the evening, but complainants Mamonaheng Salemane and her husband Salemane Salemane  followed the latter to his house.

It further indicated that upon their arrival a fight erupted and the accused was stabbed with a bottle and a knife by Mamonaheng whom the court heard they once had a love affair. The court also heard that as a way of protecting himself from the complainants the accused had rushed to his bedroom, grabbed a sword and started fighting with it.
Moreover, prosecution seemed sceptical about the authenticity of the medical form, which was issued 4 months after the incident, noting that the officer who issued it had interest in this case as he grew up with the accused's children in the same village. The case which was before Magistrate Marethabile Rantja and persecuted by Letsie Molapo,was  postponed to July. 24.
