The death of Mr. Habofanoe Lehana has left a huge gap within the All Basotho Convention party because he contributed all the strength towards the party’s growth.

This was said by ABC Secretary General, Mr. Lebohang Hlaele when commenting on the passing of Mr. Lehana, who died on Sunday after a short illness.

He further said Mr. Lehana had a mind of his own, quiet but would ensure that things are done the way they should, saying they do not know who will fill the gap of Mr. Lehana based on his character.

On the other hand, Mr. Mahlakajoe Lehana who is the elder brother of the deceased, said the cause of the death was reported as asthma after he collapsed on Sunday, saying he was declared dead upon arrival at Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Lehana was the former Member of Parliament for Khafung constituency and former Minister of Local Government and Chieftainship, Minister of Trade and Industry as well as that of Justice and Constitutional Law between 2017 and 2020.
