The Lesotho Mounted Police Service has given out its side in relation to the death of one Refiloe Makatsa who was killed in Mafeteng.

According to the Assistant Public Relations Officer of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service, Inspector ‘Mareabetsoe Mofoka, the prime suspect in this matter that occurred in Mafeteng, Phahameng is a member of the police service who when investigations are completed shall appear before the courts.

She said that according to an autopsy report that the death of the deceased was caused by a head injury that led to internal bleeding to his brain.

She mentioned that the Lesotho Mounted Police Service shall not in any way stand for any unlawful acts despite being done by its members or not, therefore upon the release of the directive from the courts, the suspects shall be taken before the courts to answer for his actions.
