Thaba Tseka July 26 -- The Prime Minister is expected to lead the monthly national cleaning campaign on friday.

This was confirmed by the District Administrator Mr. Tlali Mphafi in an interview with the Agency on Wednesday.

According to Mr. Mphafi, the PM will be followed by a delegation of ministers and the Primemminister will deliver a keynote address at Sethaleng.

During the recent campaigns, places like taxi ranks, and supermarkets’ surroundings were untidy, and one of the taxi ranks stinks in summer as street vendor’s dispose of unclean water next to the tarred road increasing the chances of opportunistic diseases.

Besides the untidiness at the above-mentioned places, communities also do not keep their environment clean, as they throw diapers all over the place which makes it easy for germs to spread and expose people to diseases such as cholera.

Despite the call to clean, the Thaba Tseka community and the business community, and the informal traders do not take part in those cleaning campaigns, this has been happening since the campaign started.
