The World Health Organization celebrated seventy-five years in partnership with the Police and the Ministry of Health by donating blood, in Mafeteng district, last week.

Mr. Khotso Kalake, from the Blood Donation and Collection Center, pointed out how important it is for people to donate blood in order to save lives and that their center does not run out of blood so that when people come they can get help immediately without waiting for someone to donate.

On the other hand, Mr. Lebamang Boloetse, pointed out how important it is to donate blood because it saves other people's lives. He pointed out that he has lived for more than ten years by being given blood to survive.

The administrative department in Mafeteng district, Mr. Sera Makharilele, has shown that the police and the public should make sure that they donate blood in order to save lives. He said that as police officers, by donating blood, they fulfill their obligations, and that sets a good example for all people.
