A 28-year-old man from Thaba-Tsoeu who is facing a sexual offence charge against a 54 years old woman, will be back in court on October, 30

Evidence brought before the court showed that Remaketse Matlanyane knocked at the victim;s house in the middle of the night earlier this year, and the latter opened the door holding a piece of sheet medal in her hand which she stabbed the accused with It is reported that after forcefully getting into the house Matlanyane pushed the victim against the wall and started touching the latter with her private parts but the victim screamed her lungs out, and was heard by a 75 years old woman who is the neighbour who came rushing and suspect went out through the window.

Both the victim and an elderly who came to her rescue reported the incident to the chief the following morning, who called a gathering for men only, and the victim managed to identify the suspect as he had a newly inflicted wound on his cheek and was immediately apprehended by the public and handed over to Mohaleshoek police station.  The case is before Magistrate Rantja and Mathe for Crown Counsel.
