Since the board of Transport has not yet announced the new price list for transport fares, it is unlikely that prices will be implemented on November 01 as it had been expected.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Maseru Region Transport Operators (MRTO), Mr. Mokete Jonase who also said the new price list was supposed to have been published and made available to the public and owners by October 11 but since that did not happen, the prices might not increase this coming month of November.

He continued to show that since they have asked the government to increase transport fares every year, even if it is fifty cents, they will not have a problem as long as there is an increase. He said the fact that there is no increase in the fee every year, that affects the passengers badly as it causes an increase in the amount that burdens the passengers.
