Sefikeng anti-crime committee in partnership with the police will launch a

series of crime prevention awareness campaigns starting from Wednesday next week at Ha-Senekane. This was said by Sefikeng anti-crime committee chairperson Mr. Phelane Mathosi during an interview on Tuesday.

Mr. Mathosi said the primary purpose of the campaigns is to intensify education on community crime prevention ahead of the coming festive season. He further said it has come to their attention that most committees seem to be dysfunctional, therefore another aim is to revive and boost the morale of such teams.<<<Monate>>>

Mr. Mathosi  also said among the key issues they are going to discuss in partnership with the Citizens Voice and Action (CVA) team includes child marriages and child protection issues. Meanwhile, among the places to be targeted with such campaigns includes Ha-Moshati, Ha Matholoana and Ha-Kene.
