District Football Association (DIFA) Berea will resume the second leg league games on Saturday in various zones.This was confirmed by DIFA Berea President Mr. Lekhooa Thabaneng during an interview with the agency on Monday.

Mr. Thabaneng said the decision to embark on the second league games came after the teams in different zones finished their first leg games on Saturday. He pointed out that having finished the league games early marks a milestone of development

which will give teams enough time to rest and prepare for the playoffs upon the completion of the second leg games. DIFA President said the only challenge they have encountered during the first leg is age quota, with many of them still lacking the under 20 teams for the development side. On the other hand, he highlighted that on women’s football for teams playing in the B and C division side, many of them are still very far from completing their first leg league games, but they are hopeful that by the first week of January they will be done.

DIFA Berea has at least 12 zones and it is also the district soccer administration body working under the Lesotho Football Association.
