The Minister of Communications, Science and Technology Honourable Serialong Qoo will turn the sod at ‘Mampete, Ha Lenkoane in Berea on Monday to mark a construction of Vodacom Lesotho’s tower.

According to the District Administrator, Mr. Motsamai Mokoto although the sod turning event will be conducted at ‘Mampete, the tower will be constructed at Pulanyane, Ha Majoro, saying it was prompted by the community’s request, after a prolonged network problem.

Mr. Mokoto said the community asked for the tower during a series of public gatherings that were organised by his office last year, at which various departments briefed the public on services they render.

He added that at the gatherings, the community was also accorded an opportunity to raise concerns, problems and needs.

Villages that include Ha Makhula, Ha Moorosane, Ha Nkhahle, and Ha Mokhameleli will benefit from the tower.
