Vodacom Lesotho says it  cares deeply about the community in which it operates.The authorities say VCL  social investments and partnerships span across health, education, economic empowerment and gender equality.They  remain committed to using the resources at their disposal,  technology and their  expertise to drastically improve standards and develop these areas that are also in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.In July 2016, Vodacom kicked off an exciting competition for schools. Pay school fees with M-Pesa awarded all schools within the country an opportunity to WIN a state of the art Computer Lab by being M-Pesa merchants and collecting school fees through M-Pesa.

They have finally reached the pinnacle of the challenge and we are delighted to invite you to a prize-giving ceremony.The promotion was set-up to encourage the convenience of paying school fees with M-Pesa, making it easier for parents to pay fees for their children, and helping schools collect and mange school fee payments a lot easier. Moreover, the aim of the promotion is investing in the future of the young generation through the donation of a fully equipped Computer Lab to the winning school, something which is completely in line with Vodacom’s core ambition to empower learning through technology.

The Lab consist of:

         Vodacom Branded Container (8mx3m)

         10 Computers with Software (Windows and Office)

         Desk and Chairs

        Internet Connectivity

The intended date of prize giving ceremony that will be held at St Barnabas High School in Rothe, is 2nd, August, 2017 at 10:00am.
