The Lesotho Defence Force(LDF) officer Major Pitso Ramoepana is still in custody in the Lesotho Correctional Services despite being given bail.

Major Ramoepana was given bail in a case in which he is charged with the alleged involvement in the murder of the Lieutenant-General Khoantle Motso-Motso on the 5th September 2017 at Ratjomose Barracks.

The High Court of Lesotho through Judge Molefi Makara has given him bail on the 29th November 2017 and among other conditions he had to put before court M5000 and has not yet paid hence the punishment.

However days before he was given bail, the prosecution joined him as the co-accused in a case in which the former Commander Lieutenant-General Tlali Kamoli is charged with 14 counts of attempted murder.
