A case in which three Lesotho Defence Force(LDF) members, are charged with a murder of Mohau Qobete of Mafeteng, is pending a directive from the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP).

When briefing the court on the status of the case during remands sessions at Maseru Magistrate Court yesterday, Prosecuter Mohau Mahanyele said he has been informed that, the DPP is currently prepairing for the case to be heard by the High Court of Lesotho.

The suspects are charged with allegedly murdering Mohau Qobete, during a shooting that occured at the Ministry of Education and Training headquarters, in Maseru on the 1st February 2015.

They are Captain Litekanyo Nyakane of Matholeng Mafeteng, Sengapha Kolotsane of Mapoteng Leribe, and Cele Moholobela of Lekokoaneng Leribe.

They are expected to appear before the court again on the 21st March 2018.
