Harvest FM Managing Director Mrs Malichaba Lekhoaba together with Harvest FM presenters and journalists, presented gifts to the elderly woman Nkhono ‘Mamakalo Kose of Mazenod Ha-Nko in Maseru, who was turning 100 years on the 14th June 2018.

Earlier on Tuesday this week Mr Nkopane Ramaphiri who is a neighbour of Nkhono ‘Mamakalo, notified Harvest FM about her situation.

Therefore Mrs Lekhoaba was touched by her story that she felt she needed to do something about it.

On the other hand Harvest FM crew was welcomed by Mrs Kose’s daughter who is 76 years old, who stated that she had to leave behind her house to look after her blind mom as she is unable to do anything on her own.

Furthermore Mrs Lekhoaba cried out to the government of Lesotho specifically the Ministry of Social Development, saying it should take a closer look at the elder people as they are the treasures of the nation.
