The Maseru Mall Managing Director Mr Boholo Chimombe, says as the Maseru Mall management and Maseru Mall takeholders, they have heard the complains of Basotho regarding the safety of their cars around the mall.

Mr Chimombe said they became aware of this problem, as Basotho posted incidences of cars stolen at Maseru Mall on internet.

He said they are working together with the Lesotho Mounted Police Services( LMPS), to help the G4S Security Company which is providing security at the mall.

Mr Chimombe said Maseru Mall sheltered many businesses, and he called on to the public not to fear and continue shopping at the mall.

Speaking at the event the G4S Security Company Managing Director Mr Marius Bekker, indicated that there are other means that can be used to catch criminals, other than to use guns at the mall as the place is always crowded with many people.
