Lack of a road to Mphojoa area in Mtjanyane Community Council is a serious concern that obstructs various public service delivery to the residents from different villages in the area. In an interview in connection with maintenance of a road to that has been a long time plight of the community from Mphojoa area, the Quthing District Council Secretary Mrs. Marelebohile Ntsukunyane confirmed that Mphojoa area is currently hard to reach following heavy rains national disaster that washed the bridge that connected Sixondo area  Mphojoa was experienced in the year 2019. Mrs. Ntsukynyane highlighted that Mphojoa bridge was constructed by the district Council and the bridge has not yet been reconstructed to date as was on the national list of community projects destroyed by 2019 heavy rains disaster to be maintained with funds Sourced by Disaster Management Authority (DMA).

The Quthing District Council Secretary said the Council has not been budgeting for maintenance of Mphojoa road and the bridge since it was on the national list of roads to be maintained by central government following 2019 heavy rains national Disaster. Mrs. Ntsukunyane further said the District Council will make a follow up on central level progress in preparations for Mphojoa road and bridge reconstruction. The Mphojpa Community Councillor Mr. Lebohang 'Molaoa said lack of a road that connects Sixondo and Maphojoa has obstructed delivery of different services to the community from various villages and pupils at Malekatsekoa Primary school in the area included.  Molaoa who is also the Chairperson for Mtjanyane Community Council said community from the area carry corpse and the sick with stretchers as the area is hard to reach either by private and public transport, adding hard to reach health service delivery that include children vaccinations is a challenge.

A resident of Mphojoa Mr. Khauhelo Mosito said lack of a road to Malekatsekoa Primary school in Mphojoa area is more pathetic when children and teachers sometimes have to suspend classes and collect among others food, books and stationery riding in donkeys and carrying some on heads and back. Mrs. Novula Makanese who is also a resident of Mphojoa said food production has also been affected by poor road to Mphojoa as tractors no longer reach the area and lack oxen for cultivation of arable land in the area. She further said awareness campaigns on different issues by government and non-government departments that include health, agriculture,  Forestry and environment, and Disaster Management to respond to current challenges posed by climate change is a problem for Mphojoa community to access the information. Mphojoa is in Sixodo area and it covers different villages that include  Sekolong, Mabuseng, Diane, Waterfall, Nkozini, Meriting, Mamkele, Sutujmburg and Manoelleng.
