The Lesotho Mounted Police Service(LMPS) Women Empowerment Department, will hold a training conference for police women, starting from the 29th to the 30th August 2018 to celebrate African womens’ month.

The LMPS Spokesperson Supretendent Mpiti Mopeli, said at the conference policewomen will be present in numbers together with a 30% of policemen, so that members of the police will strengthen each other on work related issues, experience and issues of life in general.

He said the conference will be held under the theme, ” A woman with knowledge is power”.

Supretendent Mopeli pointed out that at the end of the conference, policewomen with the best work performance for this year will be given awards.
