The Minister of Finance Dr Moeketsi Majoro officially launched a five days conference, of Road Safety Department in southern African countries in Maseru yesterday.

At the conference Dr Majoro explained that the Road Safety Department in Lesotho, has just a decade since it was established, and it is still in the process of learning many things.

He said he is beginning to hear that many countries innovade roads differently depending on where they are, and said as the ministry they are eager to learn those experiences.

Dr Majoro indicated that Lesotho is currently focusing on improving itself as a country, and that the construction of roads is one of the priority development plans already in progress.

At the same conference the representative of Road Safety Department Mr Kekeletso Makara, expressed that the experience they acquire from their colleagues was learned from other different countries.

The conference was organized by countries including Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi.
